Overview:
SET domain-containing protein 4 (SETD4) is a lysine methyltransferases that plays a crucial role in breast carcinogenesis. A correlation between high expression of SETD4 and a lack of the estrogen receptor (ER) in breast cancer was identified. SETD4 up-regulation is also associated with the proliferation of breast cancer cell line.
