Overview:

IRAK3 or interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 3 is a member of the interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase protein family which is essential components of the Toll/IL-R immune signal transduction pathways. IRAK3 is primarily expressed in monocytes and macrophages and functions as a negative regulator of Toll-like receptor signaling (1). IRAKM mediates critical aspects of innate immunity that result in an immunocompromised state during sepsis (2). Mutations in IRAK3 are associated with a susceptibility to asthma.

Specificity:

Recognizes the IRAK3 protein and has no cross response to IRAK or IRAK2

Cross Reactivity:

Human, Mouse and Rat

Host / Isotype / Clone#:

Rabbit, IgG

Immunogen:

IRAK3 antibody was raised against a peptide corresponding to amino acids from the carboxy terminus of human IRAK3

Purification:

Affinity chromatography

Stability:

Store at 4oC (add 0.1% NaN3) for several months, and at -20oC for longer periods. For optimal storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For most favorable performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles.

Sample Data:

Western blot analysis of IRAK3 in mouse spleen (M) and rat liver (R) tissue lysates with IRAK3 antibody at 1 ug/ml.

Sample Data:

Immunohistochemical staining of rat liver cells using IRAK3 antibody at 2 ug/ml.
